New look for the crib...

Evans has become VERY active recently. It is so much fun to watch him roll and scoot all over the place, but it was becoming a concern when we put him in his crib because he started rolling over and trying to "burrow" in the bumper pads! I took them out, but then I was worried about his arm or leg getting stuck in between the slats.

So, Matt's mom got us a Breathable Bumper and it is perfect for this stage.

I REALLY miss having his precious monogrammed bumper pad in there, though!

My mom made the quilt and crib bedding...and the curtains, table skirt, and basket liner!

Our talented friend Emily painted this growth chart!

Here is the dresser/changing table and some cute fan pulls we found on Ebay!

Two fun D.I.Y. projects! We bought a wagon wheel and added the handles to turn it into a ship's wheel, painted it, and then added the mirror and brass plate with his name on it. We painted plywood squares to make nautical signs that spell Evans!

Cozy little corner...Matt made this lobster buoy lamp!

Matt refinished these boat oars for a curtain rod!

My sweet class made this precious frame with their fingerprints!

Matt also made this boat bookshelf...I love it!!!
